Lynne Njihia, known for her former relationship with Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi, is stepping confidently into a new chapter of her life. The influencer and new reality star recently announced that she is single and open to new beginnings, sending a clear message to admirers: she’s ready to mingle.
Her bold declaration came during the premiere of The Mommy Club NBO, a new reality television series featuring influential mothers navigating parenting, careers, and personal growth in the public eye. Dressed with poise and exuding confidence at the launch event, Lynne openly addressed her fans and fellow cast members. “I know you’re going to see me being all lovey-dovey on the show,” she said, “but I am single now, so shoot your shot!”
This marks a significant shift for Lynne, who ended her nearly four-year relationship with Eric Omondi earlier this year. Their split, although kept relatively private, was a subject of public curiosity, particularly because of the emotional bond they shared during the birth of their daughter, Kyla.
On the show’s debut episode, Lynne opened up about the difficult journey she’s faced as a mother. She recounted the trauma of losing her first pregnancy, which deeply impacted her emotionally. Her second pregnancy, though it resulted in the birth of her daughter, was also fraught with challenges. Lynne revealed she went into premature labour and faced complications that affected both her and the baby’s health.
Despite these hardships, Lynne speaks with strength and grace about motherhood. “I love my daughter more than anything,” she said. “But I don’t see myself going through that again. I’ll always be Mama Kyla.”
