The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced that a new schedule for the Current Retail Selling Price (CRSP) of used motor vehicles will take effect from July 1, 2025.

The updated CRSP will be used to calculate the customs value of imported used vehicles.

According to KRA, the changes follow extensive consultations with industry stakeholders to ensure their feedback was considered in the final schedule.

The revised CRSP list is now available on the KRA website, and importers are urged to review the changes and understand how the new prices may affect their import valuations.

This move is part of the authority’s ongoing efforts to enhance transparency and fairness in the valuation process of imported vehicles.

For more details, stakeholders are advised to visit the KRA website.
