Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has departed for Maputo, Mozambique, to represent Kenya at the inauguration of President-elect Daniel Francisco Chapo.
The ceremony underscores Kenya’s commitment to fostering regional partnerships and supporting Mozambique’s democratic milestones.

Before his departure, DP Kindiki had engaged in discussions with Somalia’s Foreign Affairs Minister Ahmed Moalim Fiqi at the airport.
Minister Fiqi was transiting from Cairo, Egypt, to Somalia.

The meeting highlighted Kenya’s dedication to regional collaboration, with the leaders likely touching on key issues such as trade, security, and mutual cooperation between the neighboring nations.
