Controversial car dealer and online personality Khalif Kairo has once again been arrested, this time over fresh fraud allegations. However, the businessman remains unfazed, downplaying the situation as just another hurdle in his journey.
Kairo was taken into custody at the Milimani Law Courts, where he had appeared for a separate case. Authorities cited three additional complaints against him, with the latest involving a client who allegedly paid in full for a BMW but never received the car.
This is not Kairo’s first brush with the law. His legal troubles began in December 2024 when he was arrested and detained at Kasarani Police Station over similar fraud claims. Since then, more allegations have emerged, raising concerns about his business practices.
Despite the ongoing investigations, Kairo continues to project confidence. Taking to social media, he reassured his supporters that he would overcome the challenges. “Obstacles are part of the journey. We keep pushing, we keep winning,” he said, describing his latest arrest as a “minor setback.”
However, his bold stance has drawn mixed reactions online. While some sympathize with his struggles as a young entrepreneur, others accuse him of avoiding accountability and dismissing the gravity of the allegations against him.
As legal proceedings unfold, Kairo is expected to be formally charged in court, with many closely watching how the case develops.
