The entertainment scene is bracing Kenyan artist Arrow Bwoy as he prepares to step into the boxing ring against Shakib Cham, husband to Ugandan socialite and businesswoman Zari Hassan. The highly anticipated fight, branded as “Vurugu 2.0” is scheduled for June 20, 2026,at the Sarit Expo Centre.
Oga Obinna, being the promoter, promised a high-octane blend of professional combat, highlighting it has already gained significant buzz online. Shakib, who has built his reputation Zari’s husband and a fitness enthusiast, is determined to prove himself in the match, as he has shared clips of him training.
The match event will have Nigerian musician Ruger alongside Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones set to appear, as DJ Kym Nickdee and Moh Spice will be on the decks, ensuring flow of music is felt by attendees.
The Vurugu 2.0 comes after Majembe and Mbavu Destroyer held their boxing match at the Kasarani Indoor Arena in April, with thousands of people in attendance.
