The government has officially dispatched a number of Kenya’s ambassadors and high commissioners to their respective international postings, reaffirming the country’s commitment to strengthening diplomatic engagement abroad.
Speaking during the ceremony, the leadership underscored that representing Kenya on the international stage is one of the highest honours in public service, noting that the diplomats carry the nation’s hopes, values and aspirations as they take up their assignments.
The envoys have been tasked with fostering mutually beneficial relations with host countries, safeguarding Kenya’s national interests and faithfully representing the people of Kenya with dedication and commitment.
Their work will be guided by an outcomes-driven economic diplomacy strategy anchored in the government’s new roadmap to transform Kenya into a first-world economy. This approach is supported by key instruments, including the National Infrastructure Fund and the Sovereign Wealth Fund.
