Kenya has scooped Africa’s honours in hosting the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Division 2 Nairobi Leg, at Nyayo National Stadium.
The contest, one of Greatest Rugby Tournament in the continent will take place on February 14th and 15th.
Already, 12 Elite International Team (6 Men\6 Women) from Eleven (11) countries competing in this event are in town, ready for this historic thrilling showdown.
Women’s Category the participants are Kenya’s Lionesses, Brazil, South Africa, China, Argentina and Spain.
In Men’s Category: Kenya’s Shujaa, Germany, USA, Uruguay, Canada and Belgium.

Sports Principal Secretary Elijah Mwangi said the event is top honours for Kenya as it will be the first Country outside South Africa to ever host this prestigious tournament.
Additionally, all tickets to this international rugby tournament are already sold out.
“This tournament once again demonstrates Kenya’s growing capacity to host international sports tournaments as well as affirm our country’s prestigious position as a hub for sporting tourism” the PS said.
He urged Kenyans to cheer, support and celebrate Kenya Sevens Shujaa and Lionesses.
