Diaspora Affairs PS, Ms. Roseline Njogu on Tuesday at National assembly briefed the Diaspora and Migrant Workers Committee on the the welfare of Kenyans who are in war torn Countries after the recent fights of Iran , Israel and United state of America.

The committee chaired by Ruiru member of parliament Simon Kinga’ra sort to know how safe they are and what the government is doing to protect them.

During the sessions, the Ps reaffirmed the government unwavering commitment to every Kenyan Abroad.

“Through a multi-agency approach, the State Department for Diaspora Affairs continues to monitor the situation to ensure the well-being of Kenyans in the region, “she said.

She requested Kenyans in affected areas to register via https://platform.diaspora.go.ke/api/evacuations/survey/form/ and contact emergency hotlines for rescue purposes.

She was accompanied by Amb. Hellen Gichuhi, Secretary for Diaspora Welfare and Partnerships and Amb. Isaiya Kabira,Secretary for Diaspora Investments, Skills and Entreprenureship.
