Kenya’s social media masses were left stunned after popular artist MC Zaku turned to social media to make a passionate emotional appeal for assistance with his health.
Zaku, in his plea, posted:
“Pliz I need oxygen concentrator, pliz if you have one pliz (walai cancer wewe ????????)” mczaku #cancer
The posting, brought immediate sympathy from entertainment industry colleagues and fans. By using the phrase “walai cancer” Zaku’s fans were left with more quetsions than answers about his health status.
Within minutes, the comments section was flooded with messages of support. While some fans prayed for Zaku, others vowed to try their best to get him introduced to people who can afford the medical devices he requires in time. Some even shared their own testimonies of how they or their loved ones have beaten such ailments before, showing that Zaku’s words struck a chord in many on a personal level.
