Kenyan TikToker Hanna Benta has spoken out after her new partner, Steve Nice, confirmed that their relationship is no more.
Their relationship, which blossomed in mid-July, quickly became a trending spectacle- complete with glamorous selfies, public declarations of love and eventually, explosive drama that played out in real time before thousands of fans.
Speaking in a TikTok live, Hanna said she has accepted Steve’s decision while also accusing him of shifting attention towards her by defending another TikToker, Jennifer. She claimed Steve’s actions left her feeling that he wanted social media users to start discussing her.
“The way you have left me, I say it is okay, Steve and I have accepted it. And also know that you wanted people to start speaking about me, and that is why you are defending TikToker Jennifer,” Hanna said.
Hanna threatened to share the private photos Steve has together with Jennifer and exposed them, as Steve appeared unwilling to allow social media users to discuss Jennifer, while she felt she was being left to face the attention.
She further stated she would not publicly address Steve going forward, suggesting she would allow the situation to unfold without repeatedly speaking about him. “I will never address him and never do so much,” she added.
Hanna Benta said she feels disappointed by Steve’s behavior and failure to defend and protect her, questioning whether he has been willing to stand up for her during their relationship.
