President William Ruto’s son George Ruto has fulfilled his earlier promise to Kisaju Senior School in Kajiado East by delivering a brand new school bus. The first son, who has been steadily building his public profile, documented the visit on social media, showing his arrival at the school in semi-traditional Maasai attire alongside his team. His convoy, which included Mercedes G-Wagons and his customised matatu, also drew attention.
The handover sparked excitement among students, who welcomed the new bus with cheers, song, and dance. The celebrations continued as learners received additional gifts, including branded T-shirts and hoodies. The lively event featured student performances, with George at one point joining in a traditional dance, further energising the crowd.
While addressing the school, George reflected on a previous visit where students boldly requested a bus, describing it as a risk worth taking. He encouraged them to embrace bold decisions, echoing his message that “no risk, no story.” His gesture and remarks have since sparked mixed reactions online, with many weighing in on his growing public presence.
