Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has reaffirmed the United Opposition’s resolve to offer Kenyans a credible alternative government anchored on integrity, justice, and respect for the Constitution.

Speaking during the Wiper Democratic Movement’s National Delegates Conference (NDC) held at Uhuru Park, Gachagua joined Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, who was officially endorsed as the party’s presidential flag bearer ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Gachagua, accompanied by former Interior CS Fred Matiang’i, National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi, DAP-K leader Eugene Wamalwa, and NARC Kenya leader Martha Karua, said the opposition’s goal is to restore dignity, accountability, and sobriety in public service.

“The United Opposition remains steadfast in its commitment to providing an alternative government dedicated to upholding Kenya’s Constitution, rooted in integrity, and free from corruption and extrajudicial killings,” he stated.

He congratulated Kalonzo on his endorsement, pledging to rally behind a single opposition candidate.

“We will stand united and present one candidate at the ballot — a leader who will guide Kenya toward a brighter, more accountable, and just future,” Gachagua affirmed.
