Football Kenya Federation (FKF) President Hussein Mohammed is confident that Kenya will be ready to co-host the Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) in February 2025.
After his formal assumption of office at the FKF offices in Kasarani, Mohammed emphasized his commitment to fast-tracking preparations for the tournament.
He intends to work closely with Sports Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen and other key stakeholders to ensure that all arrangements are in place.
CAF has set a deadline of December 31st for Kenya to confirm its readiness to host the event.
If the preparations are not completed in time, Rwanda is reportedly set to join Uganda and Tanzania as the third co-host.
