The family of James Nayo, who was allegedly killed during the sabasaba demonstrations, is demanding justice after a postmortem revealed that he was shot from the back.

Autopsy reports done at the Naivasha sub-county hospital morgue reveal that the 37 year old fisherman died from complications after the bullet entered through the back and exited through the abdomen.

The family of James Nayo is still coming to terms with what befell its kin during the sabasaba demonstrations in Naivasha. The autopsy done on his body indicates that he was shot from the back.

These revelations have left the family in distress and they are now battling with the reality of a life without James as they prepare to lay him to rest.

His sister Judy termed the death a big tragedy to the family. His brother Gordon calling on the relevant agencies to investigate the matter and bring the culprits to book.This was the third post-mortem in Naivasha of those allegedly killed during the demonstrations.

Nayo was rushed to the hospital on the 7th of July, but later succumbed while undergoing treatment.
