Equity Bank emerged as the overall winners of the 37th edition of Interbank Games held at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies in Nairobi.
They were crowned champions for the second running year, securing gold medals across multiple sports.
Equity was also awarded the Best Bank in the Tier One Category at the event.
The competition featured participation from over 30 financial institutions across more than 20 sporting disciplines.
The men’s volleyball team defended their title, overpowering Cooperative Bank 3-1 in the finals.

In athletics, the women’s team secured first place, with the men’s team finishing as runners-up.
Key performances included Abraham Kiplagat’s victory in the 800metres and Sylvian Wasilwa’s strong display in the relays.

The women’s basketball team maintained an unbeaten record, claiming victory against I&M bank in the finals and team captain Melissa Akinyi was named Most Valuable Player.
Both the men’s and women’s handball team went undefeated, while the women’s netball team claimed the championship.
In women’s football, equity beat Absa bank in the 8-team round-robin competitions.
The men’s football team was however beaten 4-1 by the I&M bank.
