The Democratic Party of Kenya (DP) is set to hold its National Delegates Convention (NDC) on Tuesday, January 28, 2026, in Nairobi, as the party intensifies preparations ahead of the 2027 General Election.
According to a notice released by the party, the convention will take place at Ufugamano House, starting at 7:00 a.m., and will bring together delegates from across the country to deliberate on key party matters.
The meeting will be presided over by the party leader, Hon. Justin B. Muturi, E.G.H., and is expected to chart the party’s political direction, strengthen internal structures, and reaffirm its guiding philosophy of Umoja na Haki (Unity and Justice).
Party officials say the convention will provide a platform for delegates to review the party’s performance, discuss policy priorities, and position the Democratic Party within Kenya’s evolving political landscape.
The NDC is also expected to address organizational reforms and strategies aimed at revitalizing the party as it seeks to reassert its relevance ahead of the next general election.
