Brentford midfielder Christian Norgaard is set to join Arsenal if a £9.3million is successful.
Norgaard, 31, has been an integral figure at the Bees since joining them in 2019 from Fiorentina.
Though he has two years left on his deal, the Gunners believe they will secure the move despite there being no agreement in place as of yet.
The Dane has played 196 times for Brentford throughout his time at the club and more than 20 times for his country.
Norgaard played for Thomas Frank when the pair were at Brondby, but the midfielder will not follow his manager for a third time after he left Brentford to become the new Tottenham manager.
