Socialite Anerlisa Muigai has finally come clean after fans and followers noticed that there had been a recent increase in the number of people she was following on Instagram most of whom are popular celebrities from Tanzania and Kenya.
In an now-viral Instagram story, Anerlisa had confessed that she used to lend her phone to her nephew, unwittingly sparking a digital tempest. Her friend subsequently warned her that she was following 54 accounts, much more than her usual handpicked group. Curious, she had peeked and discovered that nearly all the new follows were celebrity friends from around where she was.
“Imagine having a screenshot for 1 month… Just to clarify,” she began, detailing how the celebrity follow mistakenly scandal happened. “My friend called me and said did I know that I was following 54 people. I told her no, but when I looked, I realized she (my nephew) had followed almost all the celebrities in Kenya and Tanzania,” she wrote.
Anerlisa lightheartedly admitted to unfollowing everyone her nephew had mistakenly followed and added, “I can only imagine the thrill of my follow ????.”
