Former Makadara Member of Parliament Reuben Ndolo appeared before the Commission on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, to respond to concerns regarding public utterances he allegedly made at Jesus Teaching Ministry Church in Donholm, Embakasi East Constituency, on October 18, 2026.

The remarks are currently under investigation by the Commission over allegations that they could promote ethnic intolerance and undermine peaceful coexistence among communities.

The session was chaired by NCIC Chairperson Bishop Dr Kepha Nyamweya Omae and attended by Vice Chairperson Irene Chepoisho Tulel, alongside Commissioners Jerusah Mwaathime Michael and Jackson Swadi Kedogo.

During the proceedings, Ndolo responded to the issues raised by the Commission and presented his submissions regarding the statements attributed to him.

The Commission said it had taken note of his submissions and would deliberate on the matter before determining the appropriate course of action.

NCIC reaffirmed its commitment to addressing public statements and conduct that could threaten national unity, peace and social cohesion.

The Commission added that it would communicate its determination and the next steps once deliberations are complete.
