American rapper Nicki Minaj has declared her admiration for United States President Donald Trump, stating she has no apologies for loving him.
Speaking in an interview, Minaj said she honored to work with the administration and called Trump smart, fun and grounded adding he’s easy to connect with and makes people feel heard.
“I just love him and I’m not ever going to make excuses for that…I don’t know why I should,” Minaj said.
Minaj, known for her unapologetic persona and outspoken views, openly aligned herself with Trump, positioning herself at the center and drawing both praise and criticism.
She added her concerts don’t belong to politics, saying her shows are about having fun, making memories and appreciating life not lecturing the crowd.
Previously, Nicki Minaj was tapped to judge Trump’s small business competition, which gives five companies a share of $1 million.
This is not the first time Minaj has made headlines for her political views but over the years, she has used her platform to comment on issues ranging from women’s empowerment to industry dynamics.
