The TRIFIC Green USD Income Real Estate Investment Trust (I-REIT) has officially listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) after raising USD 30.8 million, surpassing its fundraising target with a 103.3 percent subscription rate.
According to the Kenya Investment Authority (InvestKenya), the successful listing marks a significant milestone for Kenya’s capital markets and the country’s efforts to promote sustainable and green investment opportunities.
The listing ceremony brought together key stakeholders from the investment and financial sectors, including the Principal Secretary for Investment Promotion, Abubakar Hassan, who joined guests at the Nairobi Securities Exchange to witness the milestone.

The offer exceeded its fundraising target, reflecting strong investor confidence in the green real estate investment vehicle. Combined with the promoter’s contribution, the TRIFIC Green USD I-REIT debuted on the NSE with a market value of nearly USD 37.3 million.
The listing is expected to enhance access to long-term capital for environmentally sustainable real estate developments while offering investors an opportunity to participate in income-generating green property investments.
InvestKenya noted that the achievement reinforces Kenya’s position as an attractive destination for sustainable investments and demonstrates growing confidence in the country’s investment climate and capital markets.
