Returning to the music industry, Kenyan singer Nikita Kering has released the highly anticipated EP, ‘Lick Back,’ features edgy visuals and unapologetic confidence, signaling a new era in her artistry.
Known for her soulful lyrics, Nikita has given a more assertive, experimental sound with self -assertion, resilience and independence, resonating her values authenticity and fearless self -expression.
Dressed in leather outfits, neon backdrops and striking poses, she has transformed her positioning as a cultural force beyond music.
Her fellow artist Lil Maina has publicly celebrated Nikita’s comeback, stating, “Her comeback will make you never disrespect her ever again.” His endorsement has reflected the industry’s recognition of the spirit of bond in music.
With her first award at the age of 16, she won the All Africa Music Award, securing several award titles both locally and internationally.
She represented Kenya at the Coke Studio Africa, performing with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra in the United Kingdom for an Afrobeats Concerto. She has also served as a brand ambassador for Samsung Kenya.
