Manchester City Thrash Chelsea 3-0 to Close Gap in Premier League Title Race

Manchester City boosted their Premier League title push with a commanding 3-0 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, piling pressure on leaders Arsenal. The result leaves City six points behind Arsenal with a game in hand, setting up a crucial clash between the two sides next weekend.

After a slow and tense first half, Chelsea looked the more threatening early on and even had the ball in the net through Marc Cucurella, but the effort was ruled out for offside. However, City returned from the break with renewed intensity and quickly took control of the match. Nico O’Reilly opened the scoring with a close-range header, before defender Marc Guehi doubled the lead after being set up by an impressive Rayan Cherki.

Jeremy Doku sealed the victory with a powerful finish after winning possession in midfield and driving into the box. Chelsea struggled to respond in the second half, extending their poor run to three straight league defeats without scoring and five losses in six matches across all competitions. The Blues remain sixth in the table, four points off the Champions League places, with tough fixtures against Manchester United and Brighton & Hove Albion coming up.
