“The Jumuiya Ya Pwani Agriculture Revitalization Summit, a Coastal Counties Drive Agricultural Transformation has kicked off in Malindi.
Agriculture and Livestock Development Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe who led the summit said the gathering was set to redefine the future of agriculture along the Coast.
The drive is uniting six counties namely Lamu, Tana River, Kilifi, Kwale, Taita Taveta, and Mombasa.
“This summit brings together farmers, county governments, processors, financial institutions, NGOs, and private sector players” Kagwe said.
Adding; “Together, they share a bold mission: to ignite a transformative shift in the agricultural, economic, and social landscape of the Coastal region. As discussions unfold, the focus is on unlocking the vast potential of agriculture and positioning it as a key driver of prosperity and opportunity for our communities”.
