President William Ruto today, Sunday, February 8, officially opened the completed multi-million Africa Inland Church (AIC) Pipeline in Embakasi South, Nairobi County.
The president launched the construction of the church under Reverend Abraham Mulwain in 2020, then while serving as the deputy president to President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Speaking during the Sunday service at the new establishment, President Ruto said the completed construction is a testament that we should not despise humble beginnings, as captured in Zechariah 4:10, as the initial church structure was made up of iron sheets.
In his fashion, the president donated KSh 1 million to the choir members to acquire new uniforms.
President Ruto also seized the opportunity to share his administration’s plans for Nairobi City, including revamped cleanup and garbage collection, which will begin on April 1.
