Renowned journalist and Citizen TV Kiswahili news anchor Mashirima Kapombe has been thrown into mourning following the death of her mother.
Kapombe shared the heartbreaking news via her social media platforms on the morning of Thursday, September 26.
"Broken. Eternal rest grant unto mum Oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen," wrote Kapombe.Her colleagues and Kenyans took to the comment section to condole her following the loss.
Notably, the media personality had, three days ago, shared a picture with her mother, describing her as her everything.
