Kenyan music promoter Madollar Mapesa has boldly challenged socialite Huddah Monroe over a pending loan. On a poster shared on Instagram, Mapesa announced that KSh 2 million had been paid up but the remainder of KSh 4 million was still pending.

He warned that if the issue stayed on, he could start charging interest, joking, “I don’t start calculating interest like Azziads… hallelujah.” His statement, in relation to comparing Huddah’s case directly to social media personality and media influencer Azziad Nasenya, was swift to generate arguments online.

Mapesa clarified that while he is kind, there is no possibility of repayment. “If you borrow from me, just pay back as agreed so that I don’t have to make such journeys. Am I not a generous soul? And if your ask ain’t quite doing it for me, don’t get me to lend to you go to the bank,” he added.

The call-out has gone viral, with the fans arguing if Mapesa was right to call out Huddah publicly or he should have remained silent on the issue. Though some felt his honesty was long overdue as accountability, others perceived it as excessive drama in the open.

Huddah, no stranger to online drama, has kept quiet regarding the allegations, but the exchange has already made a trend on social media.
