Motorists have been urged to always adhere to traffic regulations in a bid to tame the numerous accidents that are being witnessed along Kenyan roads especially during this month of August.
Speaking at Farm City along the Isiolo – Meru highway during the first edition of the North Connect Trade Fair where members of public were sensitized on safety measures on the roads and in their farms while using various machinery like tractors and chuff cutters.
Lewa Wildlife Conservancy Manager Dr. John Kinoti urged drivers to ensure that their vehicles are well serviced and are fitted with genuine parts .
He revealed that most accidents happen due to bad conditions of unserviced vehicles, resulting in incidents like brake failure, with careless driving also cited as a major cause of accidents.
