President William Ruto has condoled with the family of Enock Andanje, who collapsed and died on Friday, August 15, while heading to a women empowerment forum in Bulupi, West Kabras.

Adanje was among the UDA aspirants for the upcoming Malava parliamentary seat by-elections following the death of Malulu Injendi.

Through Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, President Ruto donated KSh 1 million to support the family with burial preparations.

On the fateful day, Andanje experienced weakness in his feet, making it hard for him to walk.

He was rushed to the hospital in an attempt to resuscitate him, but unfortunately, he was pronounced dead.

The political aspirant had taken early retirement as a teacher in a bid to pursue his political ambitions.

He is the immediate former Principal of Bungoma High School.
