Harambee Stars head coach Benni McCarthy has made two key additions to his squad ahead of tonight’s CHAN 2024 clash against Angola at Kasarani Stadium, bringing in Kenya Police duo Edward Omondi and Marvin Nabwire.
Omondi replaces Masoud Juma, who is ruled out after picking up an injury during Sunday’s 1-0 win over the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The match will mark a debut for the former Sofapaka forward, who was part of the initial 30-man provisional squad but missed out on the trip to the Cecafa Four Nations tournament in Tanzania.
Nabwire, also from Kenya Police FC, earns his first start after coming off the bench in the previous game.
Ulinzi Stars captain Boniface Muchiri has also been handed a place in the starting XI, as McCarthy adjusts his attacking setup.
Tusker FC winger Ryan Ogam and David Sakwa both drop to the bench as part of the tactical reshuffle.
