Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to delivering its transformative agenda, saying Kenya is now reaping the benefits of bold reforms introduced by the Kenya Kwanza Administration.

Speaking at the Third National Executive Retreat and Midterm Review held at the KCB Leadership Centre in Kajiado County, the Deputy President noted that strategic policy and administrative actions taken in recent years are improving the lives of Kenyans.

“We are making significant progress in the transformative journey of uplifting the wellbeing of our citizens,” Kindiki said, citing gains in education, health, housing, job creation, infrastructure, and overall economic growth.

The retreat brought together senior government leaders to take stock of the progress made under President William Ruto’s Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA) and to refine strategies for the second half of the administration’s term.

According to Kindiki, the radical decisions taken under President Ruto’s leadership—though difficult—are now beginning to bear fruit, particularly in the empowerment of ordinary Kenyans and small enterprises.

The Deputy President called on Cabinet Secretaries and government agencies to maintain momentum, emphasizing accountability, service delivery, and unity of purpose across ministries.

The retreat continues tomorrow, with sectoral reviews expected to guide further planning and implementation across key development areas.
