Kenyan musician Stoopid Boy has accused comedian and content creator Oga Obinna, along with his management, of withholding a donation of KSh 1 million that was allegedly sent to support the artist. In a passionate and frustrated message, Stoopid Boy claimed the funds were meant to help him get back on his feet but have not been released.

Speaking out publicly, Stoopid Boy said it made no sense to see money meant for his benefit being held up while being told to “trust the process” and “wait a little longer.” He questioned how someone in need was expected to find help under such circumstances. He also warned that he intends to take both Obinna and one of his associates, Munez, to court to seek justice.

The KSh 1 million donation was reportedly collected with the intention of supporting Stoopid Boy’s recovery and comeback in the music industry. At one point, Oga Obinna had offered to help him professionally, including assisting with the production of a music video. However, their relationship appears to have soured after Stoopid Boy returned to his former group, Gotta City, and distanced himself from Obinna’s team.

In recent weeks, Stoopid Boy has taken to social media to vent his frustrations, accusing Obinna and his management of playing games with his future and blocking access to funds that were meant to aid his progress. While Obinna has not responded directly to the accusations, he had previously encouraged fans to support Stoopid Boy’s efforts to turn his life around.

The public fallout now threatens to spill into the courts, as Stoopid Boy remains adamant about taking legal steps to claim what he believes is rightfully his.
