China’s Ambassador to Kenya, Guo Haiyan, today paid a courtesy visit to Governor Cecily Mbarire, chairperson of the UDA Party, at the party headquarters in Hustler Plaza.
The meeting was also graced by UDA Secretary-General Senator Hassan Omar Hassan, underscoring the significance of this high-level engagement.
The dialogue centered on fortifying the robust bilateral ties between China and Kenya, with a special emphasis on nurturing the growing partnership between their respective ruling parties—the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the UDA Party.
Ambassador Guo lauded Kenya’s transformative Affordable Housing Project alongside the government’s innovative Taifa Care programs, hailing them as visionary initiatives that are reshaping the social landscape and uplifting communities across the nation.
This encounter served as a strategic follow-up to Hassan’s recent visit to China, reinforcing shared commitments and charting a clear path toward tangible cooperation and implementation.
Both parties expressed unwavering dedication to advancing their collaboration within a framework of mutual respect, trust, and strategic alliance.
In a gesture of goodwill and deepening ties, Chairperson Mbarire extended a warm invitation to Ambassador Guo to visit Embu County, promising a firsthand experience of Kenya’s vibrant culture and development milestones.
