Cindy Le Coeur’s association with the legendary musician Koffi Olomide started in the year 2007 when the legendary musician recruited the songstress to join his legendary music group Quartier Latin after they first met at N’djili Studio in Gombe, Kinshasa. At the time, the legendary musician was searching for a powerful voice to feature in his legendary song “Lily Kaniki.”
The legendary musician was at the time seeking a powerful female voice to feature in his song “Lily Kaniki,” and this would inadvertently pave the way for the development of a fruitful and enduring relationship, both in music and in person.
While the two musicians were initially working together on the song, Cindy would eventually become one of the most recognizable female voices in Koffi’s vast musical empire. Their on-stage chemistry and collaborations over the years have led to much speculation regarding the nature of their relationship. The two musicians have largely chosen to remain tight-lipped regarding their private lives.
