The Principal Secretary, State Department for Water and Sanitation, Julius Korir on Thursday chaired the monthly Heads of Departments meeting.

The meeting was aimed to review departmental performance, service delivery progress, and implementation status of key programmes and projects across the State Department.

During the meeting, the PS reiterated the State Department’s commitment to enhanced productivity mainstreaming as a strategic approach to strengthening institutional efficiency and effectiveness.

“The meeting further underscored the importance of coordinated planning, timely execution of mandates, and continuous performance monitoring to sustain quality water and sanitation services and support national development priorities, “The statement read.

He emphasized the need for responsive, customer-centric service delivery frameworks to ensure the Department consistently meets the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.

The meeting further underscored the importance of coordinated planning, timely execution of mandates, and continuous performance monitoring to sustain quality water and sanitation services and support national development priorities.
