Kenyan footballer Victor Wanyama has reunited with Tottenham Hotspur as one of the legends invited for a special luncheon ahead of the new English Premier League season.
Wanyama was invited to the club’s training ground, where past and present players came together to celebrate and pay respect to the players who have shaped the journey together.
He shared his successful experience at the club, stating it was insightful for him and the team he was with.
“It was a great day catching up over lunch ahead of the EPL fixture. Watched the lads train, had an insightful discussion between the former and current players on what to expect this season,” Wanyama said.
Tottenham head coach Roberto De Zebri hosted the gathering at the Hotspur Way training as he looks to build a strong team while maintaining a connection with the club’s rich history. He invited former Spurs stars to watch the first-team training session, which allowed the current squad to interact with players who previously represented the club.
Wanyama’s journey from Nairobi to the Premier League remains a powerful story of determination, resilience and achievement. He reminded fans and players of the club’s rich history and global reach of its legacy.
