Socialite Vera Sidika

Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika has denied back reports claiming she faces property auction over unpaid invoice of Ksh 375,652.

Sharing the “fake news” Vera has said Edgar Obare shared the story on his BNN Telegram channel, alleging that a brand had dragged Vera to small claims court over the unpaid invoice, winning the dispute and now seeking court orders to attach her property with the help of an auctioneer and Ngong Police.

“With all the lavish trips she takes around the world in first class, why would she be dragged to court over unpaid bills?” Obare wrote.

Taking to Instagram, Vera dismissed Obare’s claims telling the public it was “fake news” and insisting she has never appeared in court in her life.

“When Vera Sidika takes a social media break, they always create fake news to bring me out to shame them. Coz y’all know I will forever have receipts!” Vera said in a statement.

She emphasized she is not even aware of the supposed invoice and joked that she didn’t know what receipts to provide because the story is entirely fabricated.

“Sasa, hii story imeanzia wapi ata coz I’m not even aware!” I don’t have a Telegram account to have seen the original post,” Vera added.

She went further, reminding her followers of past rumors, such as claims she was homeless, which she disproved by showcasing her mansion, adding that gossips blogs target her silence with sensational stories.
