Uhuru Hosts European Delegation To Advance Peace Efforts In DRC

Former President Uhuru Kenyatta With Europeans Delegates

Former President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday held a meeting at his Gatundu residence with delegations from European Institute of Peace (EIP), as part of the ongoing peace campaign in Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

According to a statement shared X, the delegations, led by senior advisor Hilde F. Johnson, attended the meeting was to find solutions for strengthening cooperation aimed at restoring peace and stability in the country.

Uhuru also met Freddy Nkurikiye, a Peace and Security Advisor to Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, who paid a courtesy call.

He still remains a key diplomatic figure in regional peace efforts, working closely with European partners to bring peace to conflicts in Africa.
