The UDA has set new calendar dates for the county polls with seven counties set to hold the primaries on 16th and 17th October 26.
Based on the party’s National Elections Board(NEB) release, elections in this county will take place on Friday, 16th October.
Six other counties will have theirs on Saturday, 17 th October. These counties are Tana River, Vihiga, Mandera, Nakuru, Bomet, and Tharaka Nithi counties.
The party announced that registration for members in the counties where elections are to be held on those two days will close Saturday, October 10, 2026 at 5:00 p. m.
UDA stated that voting will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the respective election dates.
All parties concerned, polling centre officials and other stake, holders are to be informed of this revised schedule by the National Elections Board for planning purposes.

The county elections, are a continuation of the party’s internal electoral activities as UDA preps its grassroots structure for the 2027 General Election.
