Rumours have been circulating on social media, purporting that prominent Catholic leader and former Archbishop of Nairobi Cardinal John Njue had died.
The reports went viral on the morning of Friday, September 27.
However, Catholic Priest Father Charles Kinyua has refuted the claims.
Kinyua said he had spoken to Njue, confirming he is in good health.
"Cardinal is well. Stop the rumours!! Please, I have just talked to him," Kinyua shared.Njue is admired for his strong stance on moral issues and his leadership in the Catholic Church.
