The Standard Media Group has reported a temporary outage affecting several of its television and radio stations, leading to a disruption in normal broadcasting services.

This morning the company in a statement attributed the disruption to a technical hitch, confirming that most of its TV and radio platforms were temporarily off air.

Despite the interruption, the group noted that a number of its key outlets—including KTN, Radio Maisha, Spice FM, and Berur FM—remain accessible online and continue to broadcast uninterrupted.

Efforts to resolve the issue are currently underway, with engineers already deployed on-site to restore full services.

“Standard Group radio and TV platforms are temporarily off air due to a technical hitch; KTN, Radio Maisha, Spice FM, and Berur FM are available online as engineers work to restore services,” Standard Group said in its statement.

The cause of the technical issue has not been revealed.
