Safaricom has scheduled a system maintenance that will affect the money transfer service M-Pesa.
The maintenance is slated for Tuesday, September 10, from 11pm to Wednesday, September 11, at 3:30am.
In a notice on Tuesday, the telecommunications giant said the maintenance will enable it to give its subscribers the best M-Pesa experience.
However, the company said all other services including calls, data and SMS will remain available during the maintenance period.
"The timing of this maintenance activity has been planned to result in the least of inconvenience to our customers. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused and thank you for supporting us to be the country's leading provider," said Safaricom.
