President William Ruto has arrived at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) in Bondo for the funeral service of the late former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga.
Ruto is accompanied by former President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo, among other regional and international dignitaries.
The leaders joined thousands of mourners in paying their last respects to the veteran opposition leader, who died last Wednesday in India.
Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka is also in attendance, alongside former Chief Justice David Maraga, former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i, DAP–K Party leader Eugene Wamalwa, and Jubilee Vice Chairperson David Murathe.
The event has also attracted foreign guests, including former Ugandan Prime Minister Ruhakana Rugunda, who arrived earlier in the day.
