Principal Secretary for the State Department of the Blue Economy and Fisheries, PS Betsy Njagi, CBS, has said she participated in the first consultative meeting of 2026, bringing together all Principal Secretaries and chaired by the Head of Public Service, Felix Koske.
She noted that the meeting aimed to assess progress on government priority programmes and align strategies for effective service delivery.
PS Njagi highlighted that discussions focused on sustaining momentum in flagship projects, strengthening coordination across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies, and ensuring policy decisions translate into tangible and measurable benefits for citizens.

She further reported that briefings were provided on the implementation of the Ten-Point Agenda and the National Dialogue Committee (NADCO) report, with discussions emphasizing enhanced accountability, timely execution of agreed actions, and results-based reporting to accelerate delivery across government.
