The family of Ian Singoe Ress, an engineering graduate who was found dead in Kasarani after his disappearance on New Year’s Eve, has revealed the cause of his death.
Initially, reports circulated on social media linking Singoe’s death to police abduction.
However, the family dismissed the allegation, saying a preliminary postmortem report indicates the Technical University of Mombasa (TUK) graduate drowned.

Before he went missing, Singoe reportedly told his mother, Pauline Korir, that he was travelling to Nairobi to get a certificate of service from an energy company he worked for.
On reaching Nairobi, he disappeared on December 31, 2024 having earlier stepped out of the house he was living in in Kasarani.
