Former Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President Nelson Havi has expressed deep sorrow following the killing of prominent lawyer Kyalo Mbobu.
He described him in a social media post as a brilliant teacher, community leader, and respected colleague.
In an emotional tribute, Havi recalled Mbobu’s role both in shaping his legal journey and in their shared community life.
“Kyalo Mbobu taught me Evidence and International Law. He chaired our homeowners committee in Onyonka Estate. A good man, a wonderful teacher and a civil adversary in Court,” Havi wrote.
The former LSK boss condemned the killing in the strongest terms, saying those responsible must never know peace.
“Cursed are his killers. May they never have peace in the remainder of their wretched lives,” he added.
Mbobu’s death has sent shockwaves across the legal fraternity, with lawyers and friends mourning the loss of a mentor and principled advocate.
