Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has commissioned a new Administration Police Service (APS) Field Training Camp in Lii, Mutuati Sub-County, Meru County.
Speaking, the CS said the programme is part of efforts to strengthen security operations and capacity building within the National Police Service.
He said the government is keen on enhancing preparedness among security personnel through modern training facilities and structured field simulations.
“We are currently at the Administration Police Service Field Training Camp in Lii, Mutuati Sub-County, Meru County,”he said.
He noted that the visit also provided an opportunity to assess the prevailing security situation in the region and engage officers on emerging challenges.
He was accompanied by Douglas Kanja, Gilbert Masengeli, and Beverly Opwora, alongside other senior government officials.
