Kenyan content creator Lynn Ngugi has come with her opinion about Bill Gates and his operations in Africa.
In a recent post, Lynn explained that the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is fading in terms of influence and trust among Africans. According to her, individuals are beginning to shift their mindset.
“There’s no doubt Bill Gates and the Gates Foundation are losing their grassroots influence in Africa. The blind trust and monopoly they once enjoyed is fading, and I’m here for it,” she wrote.
Lynn added that not every billionaire who comes to Africa with donations and big promises truly wants to help. She believes some may want to control the systems and shape Africa’s future for their own benefit.
Now the mask is slipping. They are starting to get it that not all billionaires with a smile and a foundation come to rescue Africa,” she continued.
She ended her message with a strong call for self-thought by Africans:
“Emancipate yourself from mental slavery.”.
Her social media post has not found favor with everyone on the internet. Some complimented her and told her that she is on the right track, while others posted that the Gates Foundation has done much good in the health and education sectors.
