Music legend Lionel Richie was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) in St. Louis after visibly struggling during his concert at the Muny on Saturday, August 29.
The 77-year -old incident unfolded in front of thousands of fans, sparking concern about the health of the Grammy-winning singer. At the concert, he requested a chair on stage from one of the production crew members and had to sit down for the rest of the performance.
Lionel is known for the song “All Night Long.” This is not the first time the singer has been interrupted by a health scare during his performance. On June 24, he experienced a severe dizzy spell on stage in St. Paul, Minnesota, shortly after his almost hour-long performance.

Reports say doctors examined whether Lionel suffered from slight dehydration, though no official diagnosis has been confirmed by his representatives. They hope he will be discharged by September 1.
Fans on social media sent messages of his quick recovery and prayers to the legend.
