Willis Oyugi Onyango, a final-year medical student at Kenyatta University, is dead.
Onyango, whose death comes just two months shy of his would be graduation, died suddenly hours after complaining about mild flu and chest pain.
As narrated by his sister Lydia, the medical student called her on Sunday, July 6, and informed her that he had flu and some chest pain.
She asked if he wanted to go to the hospital, but he brushed it off as “hiyo ni kitu kidogo”.
However, as a caring big sister, Lydia still sent him money for medicine, a trench coat, and some warm bedding.
On Monday, July 7, Onyango walked into a restaurant to have lunch. He placed his order and before the food could even reach his table, he collapsed and died.
